Jonny Wright is a songwriter and producer. He got his start with pop mogul Nigel Martin-Smith and fine-tuned an early knack for catchy songs alongside Eliot Kennedy and Richard Darbyshire in the late 1990s.

As a singer-songwriter, he went on to gain widespread music industry recognition, winning a nationwide BBC Talent competition for songwriting and scoring a viral hit with a live performance of an original song, "Glorias," along the way. He featured on 2 albums with noted British songwriter Paul Heaton, whom Jonny credits as a friend and mentor.

His break as a songwriter came with two songs on the debut, major-label album from Foxes. Signing to Glassnote in 2014, he went on to write hit songs with Aurora, Birdy, Freya Ridings, and others, and has had his music placed in major films, games, and TV shows, including Scott Free, Mass Effect, YouTube Music, and Grey's Anatomy.

A prolific writer, Jonny has gained a reputation for a unique songwriting voice, with a focus on concept development, lyrical depth, and melodic richness. He writes mostly from his studio in East Sussex or London and is represented by Jax Management.
